I recently owned a Mossberg 930SPX which came with a really nice, crisp trigger.  My Rem 870 (Express) has a so-so trigger, a little gritty and heavier than I would like.



Is the Mossberg 500/590 trigger as good as the 930 SPX?

My 590A1 is pretty heavy but on a pump shotgun thats fine by me
I mean really I'm not going to be shooting sub MOA groups with this thing anyway

On my 930 the trigger is good although the lock time seems a little slow even with a heavier hammer spring.

The Mosberg 500s I have do have a little take up, are slightly heavier, good clean pull and faster lock time.

I don't find the trigger to be so critical on a shotguns as I do on a rifle or hand gun.
