I saw one at the local discount store, would it be good for shotening the barrel, or would it malf then? How reliable are these to begin with? It was the 2 3/4"-3"-3 1/2" model. Also, does it have a recoil tube in the butt so as to prevent me from puting a pistol grip on it?

Imported semi auto, you are going to run into a parts count issue with Pgrip.  I have no idea on shortening the barrel but the guys that own them seem to love them for sporting use.

But it only holds 5 rounds, doesn't it have to hold more than 5 to apply?
