Does anybody know if there is a gunsmith out there that can take a Remington 870 and turn it into a Serbu Shorty Shotgun?

I believe that to make anything but a SBS out of an 870, you'd need to find a model shipped only with the pistol grip, not a shoulder stock.  Something about the different definitions between a short barreled shotgun and an AOW.
