I've got a Mossberg 500 Persuader 5-shot with the 18.25" cylinder-bore barrel.  I'm interested in starting waterfowl hunting next season as well as trap and sporting clays.  I can only afford one spare barrel at this time.  What kind of barrel should I buy for both hunting and clays?  I'm assuming one with interchangable chokes is the most versatile, but what length and what chokes?  Would this same barrel also work for turkeys and upland birds?  I have no experience with shotguns other than tactical, so you hunters out there can helpme out.

Definitely get the interchangeable chokes

Bbl length for an all around gun is more personal preference.

For an ALL around gun, I like 24" bbl.  The most typical bbls on the market are 28", which are great for waterfowl but perhaps a bit slow for quail or dove.
