[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Question about Wilson Combat 47D mags

I just purchased a Kimber TLE RL II and the factory Kimber mag holds 7 rounds. I was wondering if the 47D's stick out since they are 8 rounds IIRC. I'm going to order three in a second and I was hoping someone could help me out here.

No only the base pad sticks out, the follower is different and allows an extra round. If you go with the Lopro base pads, they dont hang out as much either.

I have a 47D.

The 47DC is a lower profile? Anyone have a pic? My 47D stick out from my SA 1911 a bit more than I care for.

Also, mine is plain stainless. I ahve heard they come in stainless, but black. Is that a different part number?

I just noticed this post and took two pcs of my Kimber PRO TLE RL II with my wilson mag in place. Sorry for the crappy pics, they were taken with my cell phone. I think it is a great combination. I have used Wilson mags for over 5 years now. I used to have them in my CDP II.
