I just bought a SA champion and one of the Mags will not work.  It will not feed right with any kind of ammo.  My ? is will SA replace it under their warranty??  Also is it worth using the loaded coupon to buy more SA mags.  Are these Mags reliable to use as duty mags??

Thanks,
Ranger99

Hey Ranger.  I have two bought new SA's and found included mags were best used for seeing who can hit the garbage can with a swish from the furthest point.  Never seemed like they wanted to feed correctly on the outset, and just got worse from there.  They don't seem to want to smoothly feed any of my other 1911's either.  You can probably follow the mags with the coupons.  Have talked to several other people who had either SA's or ended up with their mags as a "range gift" (some gift.)

I have found all my 1911's function flawlessly, in all bullet configs, with Wilson Combats or Chip McCormick's coupled with the requisite helping of maintenance on both gun and mags.

See if you have any friends with  WC or CM mags and mix some ammo through them on the range (not in the same stack though).  Especially if your carrying for work or protection, you'll want to find that sweet gun+ammo+mag combo.

Good luck.

Too new here to have a cool tag line...but then I'm too cool to need one.
