Does everyone have nightsights for their handguns?
I have been looking at picking up some for my Kahr P9.
Right now I have repainted the sights with a glow in the dark paint.
It looks really good but obviously they need a charge.

What are the best sights to buy. I was looking on the Kahr site at the MeproLights.
For only $60 they look like they are worth a try.

it depends; imo, if its a defensive/combat/fighting handgun, it should have a good set of durable, fixed, night sights

imo, the best fighting sights are XS 24/7 BIG DOTS

I've got Meprolights on 3 of my pistols (G23, Kimber 4" 1911, HK USPc).

I like 'em.

My Kahr P9 came with tritium night sights front and rear... They are definitely worth having. I also have Crimson Trace laser grips on my Kahr...

I have night sights on all my carry pistols. I also like Trijicon sights. I prefer the green front sight and orange rear sights as well.

I like the night sights on my Sig 226 but it baffles me why they would put a dim red dot up front with the 2 bright green dots in back.  On the custom Hi Power in work it will be 3 dot green Heinie sights.

I've got Meprolight night sights on my the majority of my pistols.  I'm going to try a set of Sevigny Carry night sights on a new Glock 30.

Whichever brand you get make sure you get "Tritium" night sights. Trijicon, XS Sights and Truglow use Tritium(from Trijicon actually) for their night sights.
