Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Looking for a .40 S&W, which one Beretta or Taurus?

Looking to get a 40 caliber pistol and have narrowed it down to either the Beretta M96 or the Taurus PT 100. These are my chooses because I want the look of the M9 but I do not like the 9mm caliber.  Thanks for any suggestions.

Just an opinion, but Beretta has better quality, fit and finish, but I own 1 Beretta and 3 Taurus's and I never had a problem with any of the four.

Berretta is much nicer quality.
Also, have you looked at the Beretta Cougar's?

I have one and let me tell you that it is an excellent handgun. I like it much better that the other beretta!

The Taurus is a good bang for the buck but the beretta is just a nicer gun.
