I bought a BDM today used. It was a great deal and I went for it. I shot 50 rounds out of the gun and it seemed fine.
Does anyone have an opinion on these pistols?
Does anyone know who may have Hi-Caps for this pistol?
Thanks

Nice Gun...Very thin for a hi cap gun. That being said, Hi Cap mags are 75-90 bucks per. I sold mine for that reason and got a CZ-Almost as thin and 25 bucks for hi cap mags.

I thought they were neat when they came out. Short life. Noone really cared for them. I heard they're good, but the triggers suck, and you can't really do anything about it.
I wouldn't get one simply because they didn't make them for long, and parts might be hard to find.

I really like my BDM and it's been a great gun for many years.

The BDM was a solution in search of a problem, IMO. Pity they didn't devote the time & $$$ to making more High Powers. Say, in .45acp????

I bought a BDM a few years back, used, for 275$ nice gun, though Hi-caps are around 70$ I got one from my range master for 40$ Personally, I dont know if 3 more rounds is worth 30 more dollars, but who else do you know with a hi-cap 380? I like mine.

juell The odds are that you had the BDA instead of the BDM. The BDM was only 9mm IIRC. The BDA came in 380 (made by Beretta) and 9mm, 38Super, 30 Luger and 45acp (made by SiG).

pcgod, you have one of the most underated pistols ever made. Mine shoots second to only my Walther P88. The reason the BDM didn't take off is it was a 9mm in a 40 S&W market. CDNN has 10 round mags for $19.99. Regards, Richard

Juell, no big deal. We're just really pleased to see new posters here. Jump on in, the waters fine. And the BDAs were damn fine handguns too.
