I've been thinking about getting one of Kimber's .22 conversion kits for my Springfield 1911.

Does anybody out there have experience with these?  Do they function well (feeding, extracting, ejecting, etc)?  Accuracy?

Thanks!

I've got the Kimber Rimfire Target, which is the conversion unit on top of a dedicated aluminum lower.

Mine had a lot of problems from the get-go, but it turns out early magazines were crap and after they replaced them it runs like a top. Very accurate, too.

Ceiner mags work with the unit, and are better quality.
