Will a full size USP mag of the same caliber lock and feed in a USP compact pistol?

Will a .40 caliber Full size USP mag lock in a 9mm full size USP pistol?

The reason I ask is I recently purchased a 9mm SA XD subcompact. The full size XD9 magazines lock and feed reliably in the my XD9 subcompact pistol. With very minor tweaking of the mag lips, the .40 caliber full size 10 round XD40 magazines lock and feed reliably, when loaded with 13 9mm cartridges(150 rounds, no failures) in my XD 9mm subcompact pistol..

I was wondering if there was similar interchangeability with the USP pistols.
