Looking for a good, inexpensive range bag. Any suggestions?  Right now I am just using a slightly modified tackle box. It works okay.. but its like being on a date with a fat chick... works until your buddies see you with one.

Well to start, what all do you carry to the range?

I have the midsized I-Shot.  Yeah, it wasn't "cheap."  About 45 bucks, but it comes with a pull out "tray, with built in sleeves for muffs, glasses, and two pistol cases.  It also came with a third pistol case, and a clip on brass bullet bag.

It might be a little more green than a 25 dollar tool bag from Home Depot, but the convenience has been worth every penny and it's very well made.

Go to Cheaperthandirt.com or Sportsmans Guide and I think you will find something there fairly inexpensive and a real shooting bag and not just another gym bag.

Sear usually has a small soft Cratsman tool bag on sale for $9.99.  Orriginally I went out and bought a $60 bag.  May dad bought me the Craftsman, and I seem to like it a little more.  It has quite a few pouches, and is very inconspicous.  Check it out!!!

I use a hard plastic tool box from Wal-mart.  They're dirt cheap and different sizes.  There's a little tray on top you can use for odd ball things like earplugs, or mag loaders, etc.  The bottom portion is big enough depending on what size and how much you carry.  They also keep things from getting knocked around.  It also looks lik ea tool-box, so if you're worried for some reason about snoopy neighbors, or toting it from parking to the range, etc. it just looks like a tool box.

Eagle Industries has fairly decent gear, it is worth a look.
