I recently got a hold of several boxes of 127gr Winchester +P+ 9MM ammo , I'm wondering if anyone knows the effect of shooting this ammo long term in my Mk III .

Shooting +P or +P+ long term will accelerate wear in any gun. I usually keep +P or +P+ for carry only and practice with stock levels.

Unfortunately due to a sideline job I have , I have to be proficient with the ammo I carry (Which means practice time ..ouch) . Thanks for the replies .

If you shoot a lot of it, get an 18.5# recoil spring and a Shok-Buff.  Should help some of the battering that can occur.
