LGS had one in the used case, and i grabbed it for $588 OTD. Looks unfired, came with the case and everything except for the owners manual.

Long story short, I'd like to pick up some spare mags, and some looking around Google there appears to be conflicting info as to if the Mec Gars are good spares. I'm looking at Mec Gar P/N MGCGOV9LCB.  Looks like I can pick them up for 17-20 a piece.

That is a really good price. I paid $649 OTD and was happy.  Love the trigger on mine.  
I use the standard two mags and bought some 8-round Wilson Combat Mags that have been flawless.

Agree that's a good price, think I paid close to 7 for mine from grab a gun.

eBay of all places has mags identical to the Checkmates that come with it. Joes1911mania or something like that is the seller. 5 pack for around $80 or $90. Sometimes eBay has a coupon, so even cheaper.
