I'm toying around with the idea of a adjustable rear sight for my Springfield Loaded.  With all the sights out there is there one that's of decent quality and not in need of machining to install?  OR...  forgetaboutit...  Keep the night sights... Buy ammo...  PROFIT?

If the loadded has a novak cut then novak makes an adjustable sight. this would be you best option.

Great.  But how do I tell if the slide is indeed Novak cut?

Here's a pic...  What do ya think?  Or will I need to take out the micro devices and measure angles?

I replaced my factory Novaks with the sight linked here from Midway. There is some discussion of the hinge pins walking out on them but it will be easy to see if they do and also easy to fix. I like them much better than the Novaks and they are relatively low profile and snag resistant. Well worth the money, and a very snug fit in the slide, which the factory sights were not.

Confirmed via Springfield Armory...

My Loaded pistol DOES in fact have a Novak cut for the rear sight!
