Im debating on putting a set VZ grips g10 grips on my model 28. I was looking at the brown ones in particular.
Does anyone have a set on theirs? If so do you like them/dislike them? Pics would be welcome as well.

Not sure about N frames but a couple of the guys have put them on their K frame .357's....  Model 19's.    I think BigMatt and 03RN, let me see if I can scare up their pics. They should be in the pic thread.

I’ve got a set of the white G10 grips on a model 25 square butt.

They are a very tight fit, hard to get on.  Might just be my gun.

They are thin, and a bit sharp on the front, could stand to be more rounded on the front. But they fit my hand well.

I’ll try to get some decent pics.

As much as I want to like the VZs, that fit on the backstrap would drive my OCD self nuts.    Meh, I could probably get over it with enough shooting.

I'd have more a problem with the gap between the rear of the trigger guard and the stock / grip.  But I see what you're saying.  LOL.

I haven't tried their S&W grips. I have tried them on my BHP, they are well made and comfortable, but for some reason they wore the blueing off really fast where they contacted the frame. I went back to rubber or wood.

I have a set on a 67-1, the fit and finish is fine. They are tight, I'll admit that. I bet they could survive a nuclear blast, but they definitely do not feel as good as wood grips do.

I'll say this, I was looking into a set for my modern N-frame, which is a round but (vs the 67-1, which is square). All them make for a round butt N frame is rounded grips (note the fine print, this seems to be the case for all sq vs round butt S&W). I called them to ask if they are planning to make a sq conv grip with a round butt frame and they told me no.

I landed up getting Altamont grips for my N frame instead. I much prefer the feel to the VZ. Truth be told, I wish I would have just went wood for the 67-1 as well.

I have a set of grey and black 320's on my 629. Best grips I've ever had on a large frame revolver.  Felt recoil reduced considerably, I can shoot heavy magnums repeatedly without a problem. I plan on putting them on all my S&W's. I've been chatting with VZ about making up some 320's for a round butt K frame like the "Hideout" style grips. I think they're warming up to the idea.

Pics of my Model 25-7. N frame square butt in .45 Colt

Grips are the Ivory color VZ 320. The white color doesn't photograph well, but you can see the grain in the grip material in a couple of the pics. And what looks like a mismatch at the top of the grip frame, is actually a perfect fit.  The frame is rounded there so it appears proud, but is actually a nearly seamless fit.

I really like them. Very grippy.

I've got a black screw for it now and they're on my m64 while the m19 is back in Springfield.

My wife has a set of 320 blue/black on her nickle M15 snub.

I ran across a set of the checkered VZ grips in black/gray, VZ calls them "Tactical Diamonds".  Decided to try them on my Model 25.  They don't seem to be as sharply checkered as another set I remember, these are just about perfect.  Might have to invest in a set in a more appealing color.

Has anyone got a set of the VZ grips ona round butt N frame?

This is my Model 69, L frame RB. I like the grips, but I haven’t shot it yet. Magnum loads might be a bit much.

Looking at putting a set on my 686. Are they wider/thicker than the factory grips?

They are thicker than Altamont wood grips, but not as thick as S&W Targets that shipped on a lot of 686's.  I like grips a little on the small side, and this are perfect for me.
