Snubbies are STILL awesome, I still carry mine all the time, nabbed a minty shrouded bodyguard a bit ago.

I never realized how much a rossi looks like a smith.  I thought it was a 36.

My snubbies:

My 442 Pro is my EDC gun.  Shown with Smith 58 4" in .41 Mag, CA 3" .44 SPL Bulldog and NAA Mini Revolver .22LR.  Need to find a Smith 357NG 2.5" .41 Mag.

New Hogue G10 Bantams for the 360J in my original post.

Forgot about my NAA Mini, it is the shortest barrelled of all of my revolvers.

I had one of the Rossi's years ago when I was in college.  It got carried a lot including backpacking and other outdoor activities and held up fine, it was a good shooter as well.  I sold it to a co-worker in the 90s who wanted a cheap gun for the bedside.  Kind of wish I still had it for nostalgia's sake.

Here's one that's not too common; a 3" 360PD.  Shooting .357s in it feels like getting whacked across your palm with a hammer handle.

My old 2.5" 686 (I had it bead blasted back in the 90s).  It's been splashed and gone swimming in fresh and salt water on more than one occasion and still looks good.

Snubs are so useful and often overlooked by the Tacti-Tool crowd... It's most likely the gun you are going to have on you when bad shit goes down because it's so easy to carry. I have a pair of M-36's and a Colt Agent... When walking the dogs in a neighborhood full of nosy neighbors and overrun with coyotes as of late... it's quite comforting having the M-36 that won't print in my pocket. Going to CVS for cough syrup for the wife or kids its nice having one or sometimes even two of the most concealable pistols I own with me. And with just a bit of practice most can shoot them almost as good as a medium sized semi-auto 9mm.

Thank you sir.  The SP101 is very easy to shoot with .38s.  I didn't have any .357s with me when I went to the range, so I can't speak to that yet, but I'll let you know.  I'm hoping with the steel frame and 3" barrel, it shouldn't be to bad.

Nice snubbies in here gentlemen.
I put some .357s through it this afternoon.  Recoil was pretty stout.  I put them same ammo through my GP100 and it was still pretty stout.  To be fair, it was an old box of reloads I got from my grandfather, so God only knows how hot they were loaded

Damn, a Model 65 Lady Smith is one of my grail guns.  I kick myself every time I think about having passed on a couple of them years ago.  The 3" heavy barrelled 65s just aren't the same in the hand.

One of the most persuasive carry pieces I have is a Smith Model 19 round butt 2 inch-- the blued equivalent of the gentleman's Model 66. It's the closest thing to a pocketable nuclear weapon I've ever shot. With the old 158 grain jacketed soft points they pack enough wallop to answer pretty much any question on the table. The 19 was issued by quite a few local Departments to detectives around here for years, and I always get to meet any of the old guys when they're around-- great bunch of fellows.

That 66 is just lovely, pure enjoyment! My grail guns for me was the procurement of a pair of 70's manufactured Smith "J" frame Model 36's, un-fired outside the factory. They are pictured earlier in this thread. I've fixed the "un-fired" problem though! They got sweeter after 200 rounds out of each.

There's enough here to re-ignite short barrel revolver GAS.
I only have this one, same as Indiana Jones' first movie revolver

Recently purchased the SW 638 with CTC 305G grips to add with the SW Model 36 with CTC 305 grips.  Sight picture is slightly different so I need to practice a little more to shoot it as well as the 36

Ruger SP101 with hogue grips.  Highly recommend the hogue grips cause its gave me a tighter and better pattern at 25 yards.

Top to bottom:  Ruger GP100, Dan Wesson .357 Magnum, Ruger SP101, SW Model 36
