Just bought this gun and having problems with malfunctions.  I talked to the dealer who sold it to me and he said that was normal for Kimbers for about the first 500 rounds.  He said I had to break it in.  Well, for $1000.00 I thought this wasnt right.  Because my $500 Glock, Berettas, Sigs, never had a hic-up.  Is the dealer correct?

I think this dealer is smoking crack.  I have the tactical and have not had any problems with it.  I have been shooting Winchester and UMC ammo out of it with almost no failures.  I have recently had a couple of failures to chamber the round, but I think that was due to carbon build up from shooting it so much.

BTW: what kind of malfunctions you talking about?
