Not worth the effort even if you could. You'd need a die to stamp the bottom fo the magazines to make them flare out slightly. Even then they are slightly shorter than a 12 round mag tube so you'd still probably have the problem of getting them to seat properly.

I think Hdbint is looking for higher mag cap from his during ban mags. You MAY be able to get a diffrent follower if that is the only diffrence in mags. I am not sure though it may be a thicker mag base plate too. finally the followers or base plates may not be interechangable with during ban mags. May be check out on asking HK or HKpro?

Thanks for the responses guys. It will probably be easier to just buy some new mags and keep these as extras.
