I'm considering a PPQ Q5, but unsure how common the slide stop failures are. I was watching a PPQ M2 review by Iraqveteran888 on Youtube where the slide stop broke then found others who had the same issue.
Is this common with the PPQs?

First I've heard of this. Mine has been fine so far but it has a relatively low round count.

I have an M2 and a Q5 both in 9mm, this did  happen a couple of times but I noticed that it was me
not the gun.

Just short of 1k thru my M1. No issues. With anything, including malfs or otherwise.

I gotta have close to 10,000 rounds through my M1 and my slide stop still works fine.
Look at this way: if your slide stop fails it's a free and easy fix.

The Q5 uses the same magazines as the PPQ M2?

Yes. Its the exact same frame...just has a pretty blue trigger. I have a M1 frame on my Q5.

I have roughly 2k through my M2 with no problems at all.

Edit...
some cheap Aguila ammo caused a jam. After getting rid of those it ran perfectly.

Not watching 26 min of video.

It sounds like you are saying the lever broke off?  Never heard of that. Fail to lock back happens with me on just about every pistol due to my grip and large hands. Totally user induced.

I'm in the same boat as everyone else here: I've never heard of this before.  My main PPQ has 4,500 rounds through it and it's run more reliably than my Glocks, or any pistol I've owned, ever.

I shot a Q5 the other day. I can get a NIB Q5 for $800, somebody talk me down.
