Try brownells or Wolf springs for a spring kit. Made a nice improvment in my 92. It includes recoil,trigger, mainspring,etc. Also do a search for ernie langdon's website and you might pick up some ideas from him.  His stuff is on Beretta but there is alot of crossover.

They can be smoothed up quite a bit, but if you dont do it yourself it can be expensive. The hammer spring would be the easiest thing to start on. (I should do my Beretta's) SA is ok, DA is a bear! My last Taurus was a 99 in SS....It was awesome looking. I sold it to get the Beretta for $325 (blue 92) I still have 5 or 6 Taurus factory 15 rounders NIW. Someday, I may stumble over another one. (had over a dozen, so far) and never a bad one. Just the trigger pulls.
