With the semi auto offerings I almost never buy Underwood. They appear to develop their loadings to the razor edge of the performance envelop of the bullet, and for the semi auto cartridges, that is often past what you need or want. For Revolvers however, or hardcast woods loads for a semi - they are top notch. I have regularly carried both their 44special, 38+P and 45 Colt offerings. Those firearms often need to push the envelope and the expectation with a woods revolver is for some extra umpf.
