[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Ever tried Brownells' nickel plating solution?

They have a pretty tempting looking electroless nickel plating solution.
Anyone ever tried it? Any pitfalls? I'm probably going to order it and give it a try.

I've never tried it. I was tempted years ago to try the East Texas Plating setup, as seen in SGN.

While I flirted with the idea, I farm out plating on gun parts, bike parts, etc. It's just too much EPA hassles for me.
