[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Finally got my M&P mags in today!

I've been waiting for some time for those 2 extra mags, but today, they were in the mail.

I like these new ones with the matte finish much more than the two shiny ones that came with the gun.

Anybody else still waiting on mags?

I got my check 6 or 7 weeks ago, so you may still have a while to go.

Still waiting on my mags from May. By the time I got my M&P in May it was one or the other.

Wow, too bad, I am contemplating getting a M&P. Guess I'll take the mags if I buy one.

yeah i got my mags about two months ago and still no check the mags are cool but the money would be cool too

I definitely wanted the mags bad. I've been wanting to try the M&P in a USPSA match, and didnt' have enough the mags to do it.

I bought the M&P9C in april and received my $50 in July. I recently contacted S&W about the mags and they said it would be another 6 weeks. I have moved since my initial rebate submission and S&W did update the shipping address for me. Here is S&W's response dated 8/7:

"I have changed the address as requested. Below is the information that we have in our system. Based on the information we have we are probably looking at an additional 6 weeks for the magazines to ship. The overwhelming response to the program has stretched our resources and the resources of our suppliers to their limits causing delays. We appreciate any patience you can afford us."

Same here. Bought my M&P9C in February and got my extra mags 2 weeks ago. It was right at 7 months.

I got the rebate check in a month.

But I can't complain because my mags did not have the finger extension and I called S&W to inquire about buying some. The CS agent took my address and shipped me 3 of them in 2 days.

Excellent customer service and the gun shoots great.

Just got off the phone with S&W. Bought my M&P9c on 4/14/08. Sent in the rebate within a week of that. Got the $50 check the first week of July.

Still waiting on the mags. I had pretty much given up, but I called them anyways just out of curiosity and they said im still in the system on back order.

"Well sir, the only real excuse I have is we we're not prepared for the response of that promotion. Some mags are still on backorder, yours being included in that."

I cant complain, I updated my address since I have moved. Especially now since they only offer $50 rebate OR mags. I paid $489 for my M&P9c, so that $440 for the gun and 4 12rd mags NEW. Cant argue with that.

I just sent out a m/o today for a Fullsize M&P9 with nightsights.

I got one for you...

I bought a M&P 9 back when you get mags and $50. got the check and got the mags...with in 2 months....I just picked up a 9c and a 45.in mid August..

got my 4 mags today.....that was fast......heres the funny thing. They are bare metal....no coatig at all.

Any one else get bare metal mags?

I posted this minutes after I called S&W. Mags were here waiting for me when I got home from work today. They're the dull black version. The ones that came with the gun were the blued glossy ones. Both came with a grip extension installed.

Really happy, my M&P9 fullsize should be at my FFL monday and cant wait!
