And I thought the Annie numbering system was illogical, S&W's is horrible...
Well, anyone missing an owners manual? Chances are it's on here: S&W Owners Manuals The Army manuals are pretty cool.

I didn't know six of them.
I was a big S&W auto fan, and still am a huge S&W revolver fan. I love those K-frames, old and new. |

I had to look at the numbers and figure some of them out, but I know what the numbers mean, at least when they are right.
S&W had so many model numbers and variations, they couldn't even keep them straight. Look at the 6906/6946. According to the model number, with the last digit a "6", it should be of all SS construction. But, it has an aluminum frame with a SS slide, so the model should be a 6903/6943. |
