I recentrly aquired a HK USP and noticed how the recoil buffer is supposed to increase the service life of this gun.  I also have P226 in 9mm.

Does anybody use aftermarket buffers in their 226?  I saw them selling on ebay for $25.  Waste of money?

I bought one for my 220 from buffer tech. It was a pain in the as to install. Change out your recoil spring. Save your money. I dont think it does much at all.

I was given a buffertech for my 226 and hated it.
That was the first time I have EVER had a stovepipe and it did it every time. Reinstalled the factory buffer and it feeds perfect. Don't waste you $$ or time
