Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Sig tac-ops 1911 threaded bbl

What's involved with fitting a bbl to a sig 1911? Are sig bbls drop in? I have a sig tac-ops 1911 with a threaded bbl.  I'm sure I will never buy a supressor for it.  I think I'd prefer a standard bbl, but its not worth a lot of fuss and bother.

Holy crap. I have a TACOPS without a threaded barrel and have been seeking a threaded one. IM inbound.

I have a tacops with a TB and installed a factory barrel that was not threaded with zero issues. Both barrels are tack drivers.
