If by aggressive you mean "sticky" I like the Hogue aluminum grips.
The checkering is very sharp and I like the way they stick to my hand. They can be uncomfortable if touching skin while carrying concealed though. |

Just put Hogue G10's on my p225. They were so grippy I had to sand them down, per instructions. Top Gun Supply is your friend.

I second the idea of stippling the grip with a wood burner. Did my glock this past weekand it turned out great.

I did my 229 factory grips with a cheap Harbor Freight wood burner, they turned out great. Picked up a spare set at the gun show for $15 in case I ever need to sell it.
