Just getting into the game. I only own polymer guns and 1911's basically.

Basically what is the best all around sig.  For instance, glock would be the 19 or 23. And 1911 would be Springfield and colt.

What is the sig that "you can't go wrong with" or if you could only own one what would it be.  I have mostly 9mm's but I'm not biased towards caliber

Thanks fellas

There has to be more to it than that.

Start with the basics - small, medium or large?

I own 4 Sigs. P6, P229 (.357Sig), P238 and 1911 Nitron Target.

I have a P220 and a P229. Of the two I seem to gravitate toward the P229 the most.

Iconic Sig?  The 210.

Real world?  Buy a 226 or a 229.

Not interested in the sig 1911. Nothing against them just looking for the classic sig look. I have medium hands. I can easily wield a g21 or a 92fs so size big or small isn't an issue but I certainly wouldn't want a tiny sig

P226 all the way.

2022. It's like weed. Once you start, you gotta try everything else.

I will agree with this.  The 2022 is the best bang for the buck in the pistol world period.  P226 and P220 are what come to mind though when I hear Sig....which you cant go wrong with either.

I would say German p228 and don't look back. I've own many models of sigs including the newer American made ones. I Keep going back to the p228. For some reason it just feels like perfection in my hand when I shoot it. For me, the p226 would be close 2nd. I like the balanced feel of the 228 better.

Definitely an old school W. German P226 or P228.  I prefer the P228.

Look for any Sig with a stamped slide made in German or W. Germany in the caliber of your choice.  You should be happy.
