I realized I had some .45 auto +P hollow points loaded in one magazine and .45 ACP hydrashocks in another. The pistol is most definitely .45 ACP but I am not as experienced with pistols as I am long arms. Is the +P safe to shoot or is it just a higher pressure that should be used sparingly?

Sig says +P is fine (not +P+) but claims that long term use will result in more maintenance. I don't worry about it. I have +P for carry but my target shooting is done with normal ammo.
