How many Glocks do you all have? I am turning into a big Glock lover and now I have the following models:
19, 26, 23, 27, 21, 31, 20 |
I have 2 17's, 2-19's and 2- 22's. While mine have never had any issues a friend has had the mag blown out the bottom of his 19 3 times. He was shooting re manufactured 9mm each time. Thankfully there was no damage any of the times, but he won't shoot that stuff in his Glock anymore.
I curently own fifteen Glocks (all 9mm or .45ACP) and have owned two more that I got rid of (a G30, because I just couldn't shoot it well [hand/fit issue], and a G38, because of the caliber). I carry a G19 every day. I have many thousands of rounds through a few of them, far less through the rest. I have never had a failure of any kind in any of them that wasn't repeatable/directly attributable to ammo or non-factory magazines. But I keep them clean and well-maintained (my best friend is a Glock Armorer and handles everything but cleaning for me).

I own 3 currently. 22, 23, 24c. and none of them have ever kaboomed. Previously I have owned a 17, 19, 22c, and a 21.

17,24,22,22,27
Had the factory refurbished gen 1 glock 17 break a trigger spring at about 50 rounds. |
i feel pathetic compared to the rest of you.... i only have one , a G17, but i love it. thinking about adding a G26 in a year or so.
Not enough...at least thats why I keep telling te wife when I come home from the gun store
No kabooms or gun related failures |

G17
G19 X 2 G20 G30 G36 I've got a GSSF coupon coming and will use it for a G26. I've had a few more and all were excellent except the G21s. I've had two and both were problematic. It could have been me but my G36 and G30 run well. |
I have a G30, G27, and G22. No KB's. My G30, and G27 had no more than 5 FTF's when under 300 rds and those where due to shitty ammo. I can't recall an malfs with the G22 and I even run a TLR1 on there. All Glocks are Gen 3's. I really want to get a G23 and a 9mm conversion so I can shoot multi-cals.
I have a 17,19 and 34. I had a 21 that the trigger spring broke at about 2500 rounds.
Currently: 26, 19, 23(OD), 17L, 21SF
I also have a 9mm and .357sig barrel for the 23 and a Advantage Arms .22lr conversion kit for the 19 & 23. Have owned dang near all of them(except .357sig and Gap) over the years. |
Right now, I have:
3- Gen 1 G17 (trade deal for a 4th pending now) 1- Gen 3 G17 1- Gen 2 G19 1- Gen 3 G19 1- Gen 2.5 G20 1- Gen 2 G21 1- Gen 2 G22 1- Gen 2 G23 1- Gen 3 G23 1- Gen 2.5 G27 I'm kicking around the idea of a G34 now, but I'm not sure if I'm going to pick that up or get a railed 1911 instead. In the past, I've owned: 2x Gen 2 G17 2x Gen 2 G19 1x Gen 2 G22 1x Gen 2 G23 I think that's it. I'd have to look at all my old paperwork. |

"a number of them"
I actually had three breakages, on two separate guns on three successive range trips last summer. Had a trigger spring on a police trade-in G22 break. Had a slide release spring break on my main G23 that's got 7 to 8k rounds on it Had a titanium guide rod break on main G23 but didn't find it until after range trip when cleaning gun All of them were my fault, not the guns. I should of changed out the springs on the police trade-in from the get go, and same for my main CCW after 5k rounds. I should have also not fooled with the titanium guide rod and left it stock. Lessons learned. I now have a fully stocked parts kit that has all the important items and stays in the range bag. |

G19 which the wifey has commandeered from me
G17 G22 G23 OD G34 OD I would like to add a Gen 4 and a G26 in the near future. |

One 19. Had a few issues with hollow points not feeding the round in the mag. Called glock and they sent me new followers for each of my mags. Works fine every time now. I guess the ten round mags have crappy followers or the mags I got were older?
