good price for NIB, 50-100 too expensive for used depending on condition.

Not to bad a deal. I try to by local if the dealers don't get stupid with the price.

For a new gun with night sights that is an excellent price. Check the age on the night sights though.

$489 NIB w/out night sights is the cheapest I've found in my neck of the woods.

I am also currently shopping for a G19.

If you can walk out of a local shop with this gun NIB at $550 or so, you will be doing very well, indeed. My guess...and it is ONLY a guess...is that shipping will run around $40 or so and transfer another $25...so you will most likely pay around $540 or thereabouts for a pistol you have never seen, with all sorts of issues involved if you decide you want to send it back, etc.

See what a local dealer has available around the $540-550 price. If you can score, I think you will be much happier. JMO

I have been looking aroung locally (for all the reasons you named), but it seems the dealers in my area tend to be pretty over-priced in general. Plus my extra time spent shopping is buying more time to save for mags and ammo

For comparision purposes:

My local shop sells Glocks for $484 without NS and $535 with NS. Add 5% VA sales tax and a $2 NICS check.
