Who here has some rare factory glocks to share?
Closest I have is a early(1989) gen 2 19 with the Austrian proofs but I wouldn't really call it rare more uncommon |

Quoted: The only truly rare and extremely valuable Glock I know of is the Gen1 G19. Only ~ 200 were made by Glock using a cut down G17 frame... https://www.glocktalk.com/cdn-cgi/image/format=auto,onerror=redirect,width=1920,height=1920,fit=scale-down/https://www.glocktalk.com/attachments/dsc05057-jpg.342841/ View Quote There is a member here who has two of them. Hopefully he shows up to post pics. The RTF2 22C is maybe the rarest of all factory Glocks. I think there were only 50 or so made. |

I don’t know if it was rare. But definitely odd. I came across a factory gen 4 19 that didn’t have any markings on the slide.

I had an RTF2 Glock 19, not super rare but not super common... then I got sick of having a cheese grater against my skin and stippled it. No ragrets.

Glock doesn’t really specialize in “rare”, “uncommon”, “special”... or even “innovative.”
Best you’re gonna get is low SN or a true Gen 1 (not imported to the US in any notable quantity) unless you get into 3rd party aftermarket mod shops |

Quoted: A guy at my PD is carrying a two-pin Gen 3 G17 on duty... View Quote Not rare. Not real common though, either. I've got a gen 3 19C w/2-pin frame. The only rare Glock I know of are the gen1 G19's. The only one's I know of are the ones that went to Kansas (alcohol something or other). They were stamped as well. Both those gen 1 guns the member here has are from there if memory serves. The hard to find are gen 1's, gen 2 "C" models, RTF "C", gen 2 17L but certainly NOT rare. |

Not rare but I’ve never seen another in my travels;
I wound up with a Gen 3, OD green, 27 as a part of a trade. It was back during the color-in the markings fad. |

Quoted: Yep, first release of OD was gen 3. If memory serves in all calibers too. https://i.imgur.com/M9WGOMu.jpg ETA: @RGinIdaho View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Not rare but I’ve never seen another in my travels; I wound up with a Gen 3, OD green, 27 as a part of a trade. Is my Gen 1 "rare" ?
SN CZxxxUS on the frame plate. ETA - the barrel and slide are simply stamped CZxxx |

glock 25 / 28 are quite rare here but common in other countries
|

Not sure how rare they are but @BorderDave posted a G47 a few posts down. As far as I know us peasants can’t buy them yet.

Rarest/Most uncommon that I’ve see in person.
1. Glock 18 2. Gen 2 G17L with factory compensator ports cut out. 3. Austrian proof marked Gen 3 G19 (Obama election European imports) |

Kinda cool to see my picture shared around different forums. I took this picture several years ago at the Firearms Museum in Cody, Wyoming. Not a great pic, lighting and plexiglass made it hard to get a good pic. This is indeed a rare gun, only 2 in private collections without KS ABC markings. The only thing rarer in my guess would be very early Generation 1 Glock 17's that were made prior to importing to the United States. One for sale here, currently over $11,000.

I have a 2.5 G27. Not terribly rare, but it js a conversation starter with the smooth finger grooves.
Besides the early guns and RTF2 variations, I think the factory roll marked specific agency marked guns are neat. I would love to find a Jacksonville Sheriffs Office Gen 2 G17 with the JSO patch factory engraved on the slide. |

I wouldn’t say it’s super rare or anything but I really like my Austrian-proofed 19.3
It has a fantastic finish and just looks cool with the markings. I’ve had several people comment on it and ask where they could get one. |

Before the boating accident, I had a Gen 1 21C (ported)
If that's considered rare, I have a pic of it before it sunk to the bottom of the lake |

There are G17L gen2's out there marked Brigada Anti-Terrorista. Like an idiot, decades ago, I passed on one.

I would have paid "anything", eventually I let it go. I ended up acquiring a few gen1 17s, but not the damn 19 that I wanted. I managed to acquire some cool guns back then (mp5, mp5sd, mac 11) but I am going to say that gen1 19 is the one that got away. |

I have one of the gen3 RTF G21's that got traded back because they wore out uniform shirts.

View Quote I remember reading an article on those Glock polymer hand grenades in SAR or something and can’t find it. Any leads? |

I've never seen another one of them in person even when 40 was a desired caliber. I got it for cheap too about 10 years ago. $250ish. From a retiring cop that used it as his back up gun. |
