1911 grip angle?

My guess would be some spinoff from the Army trials... manual safety etc. More Perfect.

The Glock has a 1911 grip angle in the front. It just has a badonkadonk in the back.

If you are talking about the Gen 5, I got to play with one last week.
Crisper trigger
Different recoil spring
No finger grooves
Slide lock on both sides

Felt good and shot well.

Forsyth S.O. here in GA got theirs delivered yesterday.
I'm ordering 10 of them as replacements for my agency as soon as the Purchase order is approved.

So, more parts that won't interchange with previous models.

Another new recoil spring assembly? I wonder why....

I know some people still claim brass to the head, but I've never experienced that with my Gen 4 26, 17 or 34.

Different recoil spring assembly might be because of the different locking mechanism and dual slide catch design.  The 17M uses the Glock 42/43 design which requires a different technique to remove the trigger pin, slide catch and locking block.

I think I prefer the polygonal barrel to the 17M barrel with traditional lands and grooves but there should be less issue using cast lead bullets with the new barrel.

I've mostly read up and seen pictures of the Gen 5/M model, but no polygonal barrel either? Man, no finger grooves is nice, but you can keep the rest. I also have a Gen 3 G19 in addition to the ones I mentioned above, so I think I'm all set on Glocks for quite awhile.

I think they're bringing this out since they lost the contract. They're no different than a lot of other gun companies that don't win and end up selling their submission as a commercial model.

If it's true.....

The MHS style 19 will be out in the coming months.

17 frame and 19 slide.

Can't freaking wait. A commander 17 has been my desire for years.

That's faggotry. A short slide and a hard to hide grip? Fuck that, a 19 grip and 17 slide would be the real deal.

I'd rather the opposite as well, a 17 slide on a 19 frame would be great. Or, since they're already changing a lot around, they could just make slides/frames interchangeable like a lot of other makes can do. At least I can dream.

I'm okay with a 19 "L".

I'm also okay with a 17 "S"*.

*S(hort)

Options are good.

Now, if they would release the Gen5 with factory night sights and in an MOS flavor (and maybe with front serrations too), that would be alright, alright, alright.

Glock 44: a G43 in .40 caliber.

Yawn... hence the build-up and "big reveal" at gun shops across the country.

Glock is great at making big deal and then releasing something no one wants.  It will probably  all size single stack .380...

The official rumor is Gen 5 based on the M models.

Apparently GT Dist is taking blue label pre-orders.

Honestly I do not foresee that ever happening or happening anytime soon.  The civilian market does not have the demand for 40 like it used to.  Glock is about volume and they do not make something unless it is going to sell in volume with exception of the G37/38/39 which I think they only do very limited runs of anyways.  The G44 as you call it would require a drastic redesign as it was never built for 40 if you look at it.  Basically to get the "G44" they would probably scale up the G43 like they did the G42 to accommodate the 40 round.

Glock does not listen to its customers and deliver what we want.  Glock listens to LEO and delivers what they want.  Took the FBI to get them to make a fingergrooveless frame.  Look how long it took a G42/43 to come to market knowing Glock they will only give us half the things everyone wants then wait for Gen6 to give us the other stuff.

The day a Glock carbine comes out is the day south Texas will freeze in the summer.

I would love to get my hands on one of the MHS Glocks.

I may be wrong but I thought they were pretty adamant the Glocks that were submitted for the MHS trial would never be available to the public.

This author uses the word "gat" in his article.  That one word makes any and all other words used null and void... as the author is clearly retarded.

I like the idea, it's so that you can sit easier when wearing a safariland UBL or similar... and 17 grip is way more comfy to me than 19 grip.
