i just bought an SA XD9 subcompact, and am planning on picking up an XML. i bought it specifically for concealed carry, and want to carry it with the light attached. that was my primary reason for buying it,to carry concealed with the light attached,in a compact package. now,i'm in search of a holster which will allow me to carry with the light attached, while concealing well. any info/suggestions would be much appreciated.

Your gun/light combo are listed as options on this Blade Tech holster. They also offer an IWB for Glocks/1911's w/ the Surefire X200, and state they'll expand that to others if there is a demand from their customers....

I tried the BladeTech UCH. It's rediculous! From the top of the gun to the far edge of the belt clip is an EXTREMELY wide and flat plane. There is no place on the average human torso to conceal such a thing. When I wore the gun behind my hip, the belt clip poked straight out at the middle of my back. If they angled the belt clip or put it on the side of the holster instead of the back it might work better.

I think they make a regular Kydex IWB holster for Glocks w/lights, so it's only a matter of time and demand before they make one for the XDSC. I am waiting anxiously to try it.

I carry my XDSC/XML combo IWB with no holster and it fits fine. Very comfortable. But I'm afraid to carry a round in the chamber. When I adjust the pistol, my hand naturally presses the grip safety and my finger is over the trigger outside my pants. With thin pants I half squeezed the trigger before I realized what it was. I don't need a second hole in my a$$.
