Well I got everything together.  What you are looking at is a (supposed) Valmet Dust cover with 3/8" dovetail mount, a B-square low-mount 30 mm ring, and a Japanese-made Tacpoint tactical optic.







I haven't sighted it in yet but the dot rides just over the front hood and most importantly I still get a good cheek-weld on the tubed stock.  The real question after it gets sighted in is will it all hold together and will hit hold zero?  We'll see this weekend.  Right now it is solid as a rock.
