It's been years ago, but the weird problem I had was when the bipod was extended. Suddenly it would shoot about 12" low (I can't remember if it was 100 or 200 yards). I had to turn the front sight all the way down to sight it in like that (maybe I didn't get it at that either). I just gave up on the bipod after that. Any idea why a Galil bipod would cause POI to go down? It makes no sense to me. |

Never had any problems with mine.
It was about as accurate as any basic battle rifle.....FAL, M1A, HK 91. More the nut behind the butt than anything. |

Can't say that I've ever shot mine for accuracy, or more than a 3rd mag, for that matter.

I wonder if that's a specially-made barrel or does Douglas produce them regularly? |
