Hey Guys, it's me, your resident Serb. Cross posting my GD post for you AK guys to check out, since there are quite a few AK derived rifles in the pics.
Had a chance to hit up the 2021 Arms Expo on a non-public day, so I wanted to share a few interesting things that I doubt were seen elsewhere.
Starting with the IFVs

Lazar (Lazarus) IFV. Displayed are the versions with different RCWS options- 57mm autocannon, 30mm autocannon, 3x20mm, 2x20mm+4xATGM/AA. Domestic production 8x8, I believe created in cooperation with someone from South Africa.

Raven- Loitering munition/Suicide drone launcher

2xAT launcher-equipped drone. Carbon-fiber launching tubes are what I found interesting.

Now, for the "small" arms

Sharac 99, 20x110mm semi-auto anti-materiel rifle. Feeds from 7rd mags, weighs close to 95lbs in total. Not sure who had the stupid idea to bring-back something like this, when a M82/M107 will do 90% of the tasks for 30% of the weight, without having to be crew-served

RBR7- Domestic RPG7

40mm launchers

M12 Black Arrow .50BMG/12.7x109mm on a Mauser action

SP M07AF 7.62x54R

SP M07AF in 338Lapua

Zastava M91 - 7.62x64R, Modernized M76, DMR on an AK action (not a SVD copy)

Zastava SR X 20  7.62x64R- Still in testing phase from the info I got, looks like a bastard of M76 and SCAR mk20 SSR

Zastava M84M - Modernized PKM

Zastava M05E3  7.62x39mm- Modernized RPK

Carbine and Rifle lenght M05 7.62x39mm

Zastava M21 5.56x45mm

Pistol EZ9

And the most interesting thing- Zastava M19, new service rifle of Serbian Army in 7.62x39mm and 6.5x39mm
Pictured are both configurations, along with barrels of various lengths. Barrels are quick change, and just a barrel and new mag are needed to switch calibers. Barrel change setup is "PKM based" per words of Zastava reps.

Hope you guys love the pics of these fairly rare things, took a bit of effort to put this together, all the shots were taken by me (but if you are interested into something specific, I can get you the public photos as well)

Awesome. Thanks for the pics.

EDIT: Also, interesting that they clearly copied the Magpul Zhukov stock save for the very back end of it. Even the adjustment lever looks the same.

Thanks.

What are the ballistics of the 6.5x39 compared to a regular 7.62x39?

Looks to be flatter shooting at all ranges.

"Not sure who had the stupid idea to bring-back something like this, when a M82/M107 will do 90% of the tasks for 30% of the weight, without having to be crew-served"

Looks like a lot of their stuff is just copies or replacement efforts.  Looks like they are just throwing shit at a wall.  Kind of a ...."well if someone will buy it, we will make it" effort.
Not that there is anything wrong with that.   Cause if someone will buy it... why not.

I get that, but this idea is... Beyond stupid. I mean, look at the size of it, might as well bring a full size TOW launcher to blow up whatever you're trying to hit with a 20mm.

Holy cow!  That video shows how ridiculous and impractical that thing is!

Now I actually want one.  But, not as bad as the Barrett. So your point stands.

If you really want a 20mm, I guess Lahti would be a better choice.

I agree with the TOW or similar anti-tank missile comments lol

I like the looks of the M19. Should give the AK-12 variant some competition. Looks like they kept the long stroke piston design correct?

I would love to see some M21 kits with the picatinny top rail cover though too
