I just put a new ATI stock on my sks.  To make a long story short, I hammered the shit out of my gas tube to try to get the retaining pin out, didn't get it out, and so I painted it black to match the color of the stock.  However, when I went to shoot it today, the gas did not cycle properly and the bolt failed to push back.  Is there a way I can fix this, because I can't find another gas tube for a Yugo SKS.

Thanks

Hammers are not meant for gunsmithing.  Next time you have a problem, post it here before hammering away.

i didn't really hammer it (just a form of speech).  I used a punch to try to get it out (like the manual suggested).  It didn't budge.

I would buy one from tapco, but the ones for the Yugo are sold out until the end of the month.
