Just got my select grade SKS from AIM today...$161.95 shipped.
It came COATED in cosmoline. I spent an hour with oven cleaner and purple goo just to see what the gun looked like. Sweeeeet! Much better than I was hoping for in a surplus gun. I'm at the point now where I can take it apart and really clean it. AIM was excellent to deal with, a quick response, and a better than expected result. I have no plans on painting it green. |
