I recently got a norinco sks with wood stock and butler creek folding stock all plastic and a pro mag  40 Round mag. But I can't seem to find anything online about the stock except it was discontinued. But why?

And also what would you guys say is the value for both? I think I want to sell or just trade for ammo for it.both are in great shape if not like new. Thanks in advance.
