are the Wasr .223 rifles still out there?

I was thinking of buying one not bidding but buying so does any sites still sell them?

are there any problems with them?

since the 7.62x39 round is extinct in the US now I have to go wuith the .223 round

I saw one here at the local Cabelas about three weeks ago. It sat for quite a while. I don't know if they sold it yet or not, but it was a little pricey for my tastes. I think they were asking $449 for it +tax.

If you can find them.

I have 2 Romy x39 kits to build but I've been thinking about another AK. Can't decide between something in 308 or 223. The Vepr's will at least allow you to use Polymer 5.45 mags.
