i wrapped mine in black paracord - works nice and keeps the cheek warm.

it looks kinda gay- this is on one of my Romanian AK74.. I took it off since the 74 doesnt posses much in the way of recoil anyway... I have 2 of these pads sitting in a tuperware container now.. I might use them in the summer time with my wire folding stocks but on the skeleten sidefolder with an 74 they arent necessary..
ps- that is a FSE fixed faux sidefolder.. but you get the picture...

Thats cool, recoil isnt a problem.
Was just thinking about extending the stock a little. Think after I use it a bit I'll get used to it. |
