sorry if this has been asked 100 times, already.

while flipping through shotgun news, i found "early style ak47 bayos" they say they clamp directly to the barrel.  anybody familiar with these?  they appear to need no lug at all.  if my understanding of the assban is correct (big if), only lugz are illegal, not bayos. i'm wondering if they fit comblock or chinese? how sturdy they are? and what effect they have on harmonics?

I didn't see the ad, and can't answer most of your question, but I can say that if it is a clamp on barrel style, it will mess with the harmonics.

You really probably would never notice though. It is not a match rifle, has a very short sight radius, and is only made to shoot roughly 5 inch groups at 100M.
