what significance does this have....i am looking at an ak to buy and the seller told me that the bolts firing pin retaining pin is canted and runs through the ejector rail channel.
what would i need to do to fix this or do i have to buy a new bolt?

Is he saying something is wrong with it? The extractor pin is held in by the firing pin retaining pin. The extractor pin has a little groove/slot in it's head that only allows the firing pin retaining pin to go in a certain way. Everything has to be aligned correctly to go back together...unless he used a really big hammer at some point.
