Hello, I have a  Norinco BWK-92 Sporter and it's stamped 5.56 but the manual said .223 (I've since lost the manual, that was almost 25 years ago). I can't find any definitive answer as to whether it's 5.56 OR .223 Honestly, I'm just curious since I have .223 ammo though I have a DR200 and AR in 5.56 but feed it .223 Can anyone point me in a direction for the answer?  Thanks....
Sorry for the links, I'm new and figuring out how to post pictures directly.....

The manual says ".223 (5.56) caliber" on the cover.. I know China is ass backwards but it has to be both. I haven't shot my BWK in years but I know Ive shot both out of it. Hopefully you have mags they are like finding hens teeth. I just picked up some NOS 30 and 40rd. I know a guy if you need any

My preban 84s is stamped 5.56 and prefers xm193 vs standard Wolf 223 ammo. Never had any issues shooting 556 ammo over the past 20 years. For whatever my 84s is a completely different gun with xm193 and shoots with repeatable 2-3 moa accuracy vs the wolf which shoots 4+ moa which leads me to believe these may have been designed around full power NATO 556.
