I have a problem on my old SA 85 Post ban.  WHile it is still in Postban form, I want to match the LOWER hanguard to the buttstock and upper guard.  The Buttstock and upper guard are a slightly darker shade of wood - same wood, but all trees are different.  Has anyone found a stain that gives a genuine "original" color?  What stain color should I use?

I tried this before, but never got the match I wanted.
