My friend just purchased an AK. It appears to be a Romanian parts kit (The Big G on the gas block) on a Eubank reciever. It's quite beautiful and functions quite well, except that it will just BARELY accept his Bulgarian Waffle-Mag and will not accept any other type of magazine. He's new to firearms and is reluctant to have someone dremel out the mag well. On the other hand, we'd like to be able to swap magazines, so sanding down all of our magazines seems kind of silly. Ironically, my WASR will not accept his bulgarian magazine.

Any ideas?

Suggestions?   Is it just the entrance hole that will not let the mags pass?   Ream out the mag well a little at a time til they fit.
