From what I understand, there are 3 compliance parts in a stock set for an AK: butt stock, pistol grip and forearm/handguards.

Dan at volunteer ordnance works sometimes has them in stock for less.

The pistol grip and buttstock would count as two parts.
Ironwood Designs makes some great stuff and is one of the primary suppliers for a variety of sellers... |

Thanks for the link to them! I just ordered a stock set in Maple for my AKM! Those should be beautiful once finished/rubbed in tung oil.

Did you order from Dan at VOW? I talked to him on the phone a couple of years ago. He deals mostly in FAL stocks but he gets the Ironwood stocks from time to time. |

Just beware of "Tung Oil Finish" as the finish part means varnishes and added bling. The milsurp crowd swears by Behrs 600. |
