I like VFG's on my AR's, but i'm all about practical first and foremost. Looks like it'll have to go.
Anyone know where i can find a near matching lower handguard without the VFG? |

yep... sure does... also develops a nice gouge on the bottom of the grip hinking.gif

Think i'll just buy an AKM lower handguard and refinish all the wood. Who knows what the romanians were thinking putting that on an issued rifle.
